CHEER CANADA HALL OF FAME
Cheer Canada Hall of Fame
Honouring the builders, pioneers, and defining legacies of cheerleading in Canada.
Established in 2025, the Cheer Canada Hall of Fame was created to formally recognize the individuals and teams whose vision, labour, and belief shaped the sport of cheerleading in Canada.
This Hall exists not only to celebrate achievement, but to preserve history — to ensure that the foundational stories of our sport are documented, honoured, and remembered.
As shared at its founding:
“This project has been incredibly humbling. It has reminded us that our sport did not appear fully formed — it was built. And it was built by people who believed in something before there was proof it would work.”
The Hall of Fame captures those stories while we still can — recognizing the builders who constructed the framework, and the legacy performances that defined what was possible.
Purpose & Vision
The Cheer Canada Hall of Fame exists to:
- Preserve the history of Canadian cheerleading
- Recognize structural and cultural impact
- Honour excellence in leadership and legacy
- Inspire the next generation of athletes, coaches, and sport leaders
The Hall is divided into Wings — each representing a distinct form of impact within Canadian cheer.
Active Wings (Inducting Since 2025)
The Cheer Canada Hall of Fame is organized into Wings — each representing a distinct and enduring form of impact within Canadian cheerleading.
Together, these Wings document the architecture, excellence, and legacy of the sport. They recognize not only achievement, but contribution — not only moments, but foundations.
NATIONAL BUILDER WING
The National Builder Wing recognizes individuals whose influence has shaped cheerleading across Canada. Through governance, policy, advocacy, and vision, these leaders established structures that endure beyond their tenure.
Their contributions advanced the legitimacy, organization, and national identity of the sport — ensuring that Canadian cheer is both unified and resilient.
PROVINCIAL BUILDER WING
The Provincial Builder Wing honours those whose sustained leadership strengthened the framework of cheer within a province. These individuals constructed systems, elevated standards, and cultivated growth at the regional level.
Their work formed the base upon which programs expanded and communities flourished. Without Provincial Builders, the sport would lack its local pillars of strength and continuity.
LEGACY WING
The Legacy Wing preserves the defining performances and milestones that shaped Canadian cheer history. These inductions recognize teams and moments that shifted expectations, elevated standards, and expanded belief in what was possible.
Legacy is measured not only in medals, but in impact — in the ripple effects that continue to shape the sport’s trajectory.
